Having good quality, properly installed and well functioning appliances can really help turn a house into a home. But when they break... whadda pain!

Depending on the type of appliance it's sometimes best to simply replace it. Other times, a repair is more cost effective.

If you're thinking of adding or replacing an appliance, consider the type, gas or electric, and check to see whether the appropriate utility is present in the desired location.

If not, you will have to add the cost of plumbing in the necessary gas, water or electric utilities.

Appliances I install, replace or repair:

Kitchen appliances: dishwashers, overhead microwaves, refrigerator/freezers, stove/oven ranges, garbage disposals, compactors...
Water heaters (tank and tankless)
Washer/dryers
Furnaces
