Any well done floor is
a beautiful enhancement to a home. But the first hurdle when it comes
to flooring is narrowing down the overwhelming variety of flooring
from which to choose.
When choosing your floor, always bring a sample with you of whatever
else in the home you want the floor to be complimenting so you can
see how the colors interact. And once you've narrowed down a few, bring
the flooring samples home... colors seem to change when they go from
the showroom to your home.
New flooring can dramatically change the look and feel of your home. Whereas
carpet in the bedroom feels soft on the feet and warm to the touch, a
wood, tile, vinyl, linoleum or laminate floor is clean, open and often
beautifully patterned.
Types of flooring I install and repair:
|
Tile: including ceramic and natural
stone varieties, can be more expensive depending on the type, great
for accent, hard use or wet locations |
|
Vinyl: including sheet and tile, can be less
expensive depending on the type, huge variety to choose from, easy
to clean, good for wet locations |
|
Wood: including engineered wood and laminates,
great for dry locations |
|
Linoleum: one of the greenest floors, very durable
and often beautifully patterned |
