A good paint job's primary mission is to protect the surface it covers.
But with carefully chosen colors and accents, it's also the best way
to dramatically change and beautify a home's appearance, inside and out.
I only use water based Latex paints which are so good nowadays, there
isn't a good reason to use anything else.
The bulk of a what makes a superior paint job, is the prep work. In
fact, the actual painting part is really the minority of what goes into
the entire job.
Prep work is the key: filling, sanding, caulking, taping,
masking and priming, these are the behind-the-scenes steps
that beautify and transform a mediocre paint job into an excellent one. |
