To do good trim and finish work it's really more of a tactile job than
it is visual. When it feels right to the touch, it'll look good
to the eye.
The detail work is what really separates the master from
the mediocre carpenter.
This is the trade that makes the final work
really shine, but unless a client truly values the aesthetic, it's
the first trade to be cut back because it's so labor intensive
and costly.
